The Voyage Essay, the title’s Sunday newsletter, reached an average of 412,000 confirmed weekly readers in the first half of 2026, an increase of 38 per cent on the same period last year.
Figures are audited quarterly by an independent third party. The title counts only confirmed double opt-in subscribers and excludes automated opens, in line with the methodology note published alongside these figures.
The Essay remains free to read and carries no sponsored placements within the editorial body.
Growth is only worth reporting if the way it is counted is published beside it.
